This truck is a mechanical project. It actually runs and drives smoothly, and the engine doesn't have any blowby from the oil cap. But the pressure relief solenoid on the high pressure fuel pump is throwing a code P0088 which triggers the computer to derate the fuel and it falls on its face under mid to heavy throttle. Clear the code and the truck goes right back to full power. Either way, it will still go down the highway at 75mph with only light throttle. There is also an annoying exhaust leak causing a strange tea pot kettle like whisle sound that needs to be addressed. The Tires' TPMS dash warning light is on. There is a "battery" light on the dash, but both alternators seem to be charging. There you have it. If you have the knowledge and ability to fix these issues, then you are getting a really nice looking, straight ,rust free truck with a beautiful clean interior.
